6 Simple Steps to Setting Up Your Exit Pops Sales Machine

Please follow the steps below to complete the process:

1

Copy your Exit Pop text and paste it in a text editor

Most autoresponders have free popup generators.  (Details here).  Here's an example of the text (code) from Aweber but the SAME method applies to code from Getresponse, ConvertKit, Sendlane and most other email services that provide popup code:

<div class="AW-Form-152250472"></div>
<script type="text/javascript">(function(d, s, id) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
js.src = "//forms.aweber.com/form/72/152250472.js";
fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
}(document, "script", "aweber-wjs-d9rkprah8"));
</script>

If you use Popup Domination, go here for instructions.

If you use Popup Maker, go here for instructions.

2

Create a "Pretty Link" Redirect Link

First, install the FREE Pretty Link  wordpress plugin. (instructions here).

Then, create a wordpress redirect link using
Pretty Link with the .js link as the Destination URL.

For Aweber that looks like this:

//forms.aweber.com/form/72/152250472.js

For Aweber, there's no "http" but that doesn't matter.

For Getresponse, the .js code is this:
https://app.getresponse.com/view_webform_v2.js
So you make a Pretty Link redirect using it.

Most every autoresjponder or email program provides you with similar popup code that has as .js in it. For example, here's Convertkit:

Paste the .js link in Target URL then name the link whatever you want

3

Paste that redirect link in your affiliate
software as the landing page the affiliate link goes to.

If you use the free WP Affiliate Manager plugin, you go to Affiliates > My Creatives > Create New.

If you use the Sumo Affiliate plugin, you go to Creatives > Add New Creative

4

Now paste the affiliate Link from step 3
(that redirects to the Pretty Link) into the
Aweber code:

See the bold line in red below.  That is what an affiliate link looks like for Sumo Affiliate.  All the affiliate does is add tehir affiliate ID where the 3 X's are.  Then copy and paste the text (code) into the header of their website or blog.

<div class="AW-Form-152250472"></div>
<script type="text/javascript">(function(d, s, id) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
js.src = "https://infoprofits.vip/lisa/testaweber?ref=XXX";
fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
}(document, "script", "aweber-wjs-d9rkprah8"));
</script>

For example, when the affiliate signs up using WP Affiliate Manager software, they get a URL that looks like this;

https://infoprofits.vip/testlink/?wpam_id=1

So that is what they paste into the code.

<div class="AW-Form-152250472"></div>
<script type="text/javascript">(function(d, s, id) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
js.src = "https://infoprofits.vip/testlink/?wpam_id=XX";
fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
}(document, "script", "aweber-wjs-d9rkprah8"));
</script>

Whatever affiliate software you use, you'll want lo get a sample affiliate link and use X's where their affiliate id goes.

5

Create a 1-pager that shows your affiliates how to copy and paste the text (code) from #4 into the header-footer plugin

If they use wordpress, have them download and install the header, footer and post injections free plugin by Stefano Lissa. Then paste the text/code into the BODY section (or the header,depending on which software you're using.)

Here's a sample 1-pager I created for you that you can model.

All they do is add their affiliate id after ?ref=XXX.

Here's the whole sequence:

1.  The page loads

2.  The popup code loads

3.  The affiliate link fires and sets a cookie

4.  The affiliate link then redirects to the Pretty Affiliate Link

5.  The pretty affiliate link redirects to the .js scsript that makes the popup appear.

You're done.  Now, when you go to the website, your popup will display according to how you have it set in your popup software.  Keep in mind that if you used exit intent code, it won't display until your move your cursor to the top of the page.  Which means that on mobile devices, it won't work.  Programs like Popup Maker provide a fallback for mobile that is a regular popup that appears after 5 or 10 seconds.

Also, popup code from autoresponder companies may or may not work on some browsers like Firefox or Chrome.  This is why it's preferable to use a service like Popup Maker, even though it isn't free.  The other advantage is they have beautiful pre-made popups.

6

Share this 1-pager with affiliiates, and owners of thank you pages, download pages, funnels, etc. using a 1-pager

By having them sign up on your free wp affiliate manager as an affiliate, just by copying and pasting this code into their header-footer plugin, they can get paid commissions on sales.

You can import my 1-pager that I use into Thrive Architect if you own it.  Click here to download.

Basically, all the affiliate does is copy and paste the code, insert their affiliate id, then paste it into the body or header of their page, depending on the software.

Here's the example you can model.
